Jason's Deli, Borders Now Open!
![]() In late April, Jason's Deli opened to record setting numbers in "The Grove" at Southpark Meadows. "Southpark Meadows' Jason's Deli had the number one opening in Texas in the last two years. The South Austin market provides tremendous opportunities for Jason's Deli. The number of families now calling South Austin home is precisely what Jason's Deli anticipated. South Austin will continue to flourish and Southpark Meadows will become the epicenter of the retail." ~ Greg Messina, Jason's Deli Borders, a 23,000 square foot superstore, opened doors on May 3rd. Border's is home to Seattle's Best coffee shop.
Cinemark, Southpark Meadows' Phase III anchor, will open on May 15th. Cinemark is surrounded by 25,000 square feet of high profile space dedicated to restaurant tenants, including kiosks by Amy's Ice Cream and Austin Java. Southpark Meadows' Cinemark is a 46,000 square foot, 14 screen, stadium-seating, theatre. SuperTarget continues to make progress as they prepare to open this October. Southpark Meadows' SuperTarget will be 173,000 square feet with grocery, pharmacy, and general merchandise. Shoe Carnival, a 10,000 square foot junior anchor, will soon open its doors near JC Penny's in Phase 2 of Southpark Meadows. Shoe Carnival will open on June 29th. Chili's construction is on schedule for their July 12th opening at Southpark Meadows. Village Inn is in the final stages of its build out and will open for business on June 4th.
