Southpark Meadows is pleased to announce four new anchor stores are well under construction in Austin's largest retail development, Southpark Meadows.
SuperTarget began construction in November and has recently erected its exterior walls. SuperTarget's progress is an exciting development as they prepare to open in October of 2007. The Southpark Meadows SuperTarget is a 173,000 square feet store and will offer grocery, pharmacy and general merchandise.

![]() Cinemark USA Inc., Southpark Meadows' Phase III anchor, recently erected its exterior walls and completed its roof work. The Southpark Meadows Cinemark will be a 46,000 square foot theater featuring 14-screens and stadium seating. Cinemark is surrounded by 25,000 square feet of high-profile space dedicated to restaurant tenants. Cinemark plans to open on May 18, 2007.

Borders is completing construction and will open on May 3. Borders, a 23,000 square foot superstore, will also be home to Seattle's Best coffee shop.

GattiTown, located in the heart of Phase III, is under construction and scheduled to open in May. GattiTown is currently working on its finish-out and will soon open to the increased foot traffic generated by the opening of Cinemark's movie theater. Southpark Meadows' GattiTown will be a 25,000 square foot, food and eatertainment destination.

Construction will begin soon on both of Southpark Meadows' housing developments located on the western edge of the 425 acre site. In late April, Lennar will begin construction on The Reserve at Southpark Meadows. Lennar is on schedule to build approximately 330 single family homes with estimated price points between $280,000 and $350,000. The home sites will be located on the southeast corner of Slaughter Lane and South First Street with the first model homes being completed in December of 2007. Fairfield Properties will also break ground on its planned 700 multi-family units located off South First Street (south of the Lennar tract) in late April. The first phase will consist of 456 units.
